Description

Church Farmhouse and an attached outbuilding date from the early 19th century. The farmhouse is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, with the front wall made of mid-19th century squared and coursed limestone. It features a gabled stone slate roof and stone end stacks. The building has a two-unit plan, is two storeys high with an attic, and has a three-window range. There are timber lintels above a central late 19th-century half-glazed door, which is sheltered by a pentice, along with two-light casements. On the first floor, the windows flank a large stone gabled half-dormer that has a similar casement. To the left, there is a one-storey outbuilding made from similar materials. The interior has not been inspected. The farmhouse was described as newly erected in 1823 and is included for its group value.
