Description

Lincoln House, formerly known as Lincoln Cottage, is a house dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with squared quoins and features a gabled thatch roof with brick stacks at each end. The house has a three-unit plan and stands two storeys high, presenting a symmetrical three-window façade. The central door, which dates from the 20th century, is framed by timber lintels, while the windows include late 19th-century three-light casements and a 20th-century two-light casement above the door, alongside a blocked window to the top left. There is a projection for a bread oven on the right side. Although the interior and rear have not been inspected, they are likely to be of interest.
