Description
Nos. 4 and 5 on The Green is a house that was formerly converted into two dwellings. It dates back to the 16th century, with a 20th-century addition at the rear. The ground floor is rendered, likely on stone rubble, while the upper part features large timber-framing with angle braces and rendered infill. The roof has an old plain-tile lower section and thatch on the upper part, with a brick ridge stack positioned to the right of the center. The building is a single storey with an attic and has a three-window range. There is a 20th-century door on the right return, and the ground floor has three-light casements in the center and to the right. The upper section features three 20th-century flat-roofed dormers with two-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
