Description

Little Chemscote is a house dated 1749, as indicated by the datestone at the gable end on the right. It features a rendered plinth, likely over brick, and has an old plain-tile roof with a central brick ridge stack. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range that is positioned at right angles to the street. There is a six-panel door in the center, and the windows exhibit irregular fenestration with casements. The gable end facing the street has three-light casements with shutters on both the ground and first floors. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
