Description

Wharf Cottage is a house dating from the 16th century. It has a brick plinth and large timber-framing with arched braces and rendered infill. The roof is covered with old plain tiles, and there is a brick stack at the left end and a ridge stack to the right of the center. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and features a three-window range. The central entrance has a ribbed door with a lean-to hood above it. The ground floor has 20th-century casements with leaded lights, while the three cross-gables each contain two-light casements. The interior has not been inspected.
