Description
Tudor Cottage is a house that has been converted into two dwellings. It likely dates from the late 16th century and has undergone later alterations. The building features painted brick and render, which is probably applied to brick on the ground floor of the cross-wing to the left. The first floor to the right of the center has render that is likely on timber framing, while the large timber framing with angle bracing on the first floor of the cross-wing has rendered infill. The roof is covered with old plain tiles and has brick ridge stacks. The structure is a two-storey, four-bay range with a cross-wing to the left. There is a plank door to the left of the center, and four-panel doors are located at the center and right. The windows have irregular fenestration, featuring two and three-light casements, except for a 12-pane casement on the ground floor of the cross-wing. Additionally, there is a 12-pane unhorned sash window with an architrave surround on the first floor of the cross-wing. The interiors have not been inspected.
