House, now shop and flat. Probably late C16 altered and extended late C18/early C19 and C20. Timber-frame with rendered and colourwashed brick infill and plain-tile roof with brick rear ridge and lateral stacks. 2 storeys. 2-window range of 12-pane sashes. On ground floor are 2 C20 shop windows, central glazed door and 4-panel door to right. 2 later timber-framed wings to rear, one with tripartite sash and fragment of framing visible. Interior reported as retaining timber framing in 2 bays to original front range including jowled posts, tie- beam trusses with arched braces and curved wind braces. Some original purlins and rafters probably also remain.
