Description
Manor Cottage is a house that originated as a two-cottage range, extended to the north, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features chequered brick and rubble stone side walls, topped with a thatched roof that has a brick stack at the ridge. The building is one storey with an attic and consists of four bays. The upper windows have three-light leaded casements with segmental heads, while the lower windows either have 20th-century two-light casements or the original three-light leaded casements. There is a glazed and thatched projecting porch on the northern addition, and at the rear, there is a one-storey rubble stone extension with a gabled slate roof.
