Description

This is a farmhouse, dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of colourwashed rubble stone with a gabled thatched roof and brick stacks at each end. The farmhouse is situated at a right angle to the road and originally comprised one storey and an attic, with two bays, and a further one-bay extension to the west. Modern eyebrow dormers feature casements with six panes to two lights. The ground floor windows have similar two- and three-light casements. A modern hipped porch of stone tiles has been added. A large pear tree has been trained to grow across the south front of the building.
