Description

Chapel House is an early 19th-century house located in Great Coxwell. It features a colour-washed chequer brick and rubble stone construction on the end walls, topped with a gabled slate roof and end brick stacks. The house is two stories tall and has a three-bay west front, which includes six-pane sash windows set in moulded wooden frames. There is also a 20th-century window with four lights to the left on the ground floor. The entrance consists of a plank door with a rectangular fanlight above it, sheltered by a flat hood supported by cut scroll brackets. At the rear, there is a two-story brick extension with a catslide slate roof. The house is accessed from the road via a raised step.
