Description
Morys is a farmhouse that dates from the late 17th century and was extended in the 19th century and the 1930s. It is constructed of rubble stone with dressed stone quoins in places, and it has a roughcast finish. The roof is stone tiled, gabled at the south end and half hipped at the north, featuring end and ridge brick stacks. The southeast front has two storeys and an attic, with three bays that include modern three-light leaded casements and two gabled dormers with stone tiled roofs and two-light casements. There is a gabled central porch with a stone tiled roof and a panelled door that has two rectangular lights. At the rear, there are two two-storey, two-bay brick wings; one from the 19th century with a gabled stone tiled roof, and the other from around the 1930s with a half-hipped pantiled roof and tile hung first floor. An ornamental wrought iron gate features the name MORYS in its design. No contemporary internal features survive.
