Description

This is a limestone headstone located approximately 1 metre south of the nave of the Church of St. John the Baptist in Kingston Bagpuize. It serves as a memorial to Martha, the daughter of George Shaw, who died in 1693. The headstone features a bewigged head that surmounts a simple segmental pediment.
