Description

Greystone Cottage is a house built around 1730. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with symmetrical brick stacks at each end. The cottage has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. Notable exterior features include carved brackets that support a pediment hood adorned with guttae, and an early 18th century six-panelled door. The windows are 19th century three-light casements with timber lintels above them. There are one-storey outshuts on either side, both covered with Welsh slate roofs. The interior has not been inspected but is expected to be of interest.
