Description
Garden Cottage is a pair of cottages that have been converted into a house. There is graffiti on the brick next to the door that reads "WW 1735." The building is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick quoins and dressings, topped by a gabled Welsh slate roof and featuring brick end stacks. It has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a three-window range. The central area has segmental brick arches over a blocked door and 20th-century doors, along with 19th-century three-light casements. The first floor has timber lintels over two-light casements. To the left, there is a one-storey service range made of limestone rubble with a gabled stone slate roof. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
