Outbuilding Approximately 15 Metres North Of Appleton House

This is an outbuilding located approximately 15 meters north of Appleton House, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a pyramidal old tile roof. The building is one storey high and consists of a one-bay range. It has segmental brick arches over a 20th-century two-light window at the front and a blocked door at the rear, along with a brick ventilation slit at the front. Originally, it was connected by a stone wall to another similar building to the southeast. These buildings may have served as looseboxes for animals or possibly as twin gazebos. This outbuilding is included for its group value with the nearby structures.
