Description
This is a late 19th-century outbuilding located to the southwest of a house east of Bateman's Farm. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings and features a stone slated roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays with an irregular elevation. There is a blocked full-height cart entry that has a quoined surround and a segmental arched head, which now contains an inserted doorway with a quoined surround and planked stable doors. On the ground floor, there are two windows with quoined surrounds, and on the first floor, there are two openings with plain stone frames. This outbuilding is listed for its group value only.
