Description

This is a late 17th-century house located on the north side of Netherton Road in Appleton with Eaton. The house is constructed with light timber framing, arranged in three panels deep, set upon a limestone rubble plinth. It has a hipped thatched roof and brick stacks at each end of the ridge. The building follows a two-unit plan, with outshuts positioned to either side, all under the same roofline. It is a one-storey and attic house, with a two-window front. A 20th-century door is centrally placed to the left. The windows are 19th-century two- and three-light casements. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to contain features of interest.
