Description
Pond Farmhouse, now a house, dates from the early 18th century. It is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble with a gabled roof covered in old tile and stone gable end stacks. The original plan comprised two units. The two-storey facade has a three-window arrangement. A chamfered timber lintel sits above the central early 19th-century six-panelled door, which is covered by a flat hood. The ground floor has four-light leaded casements, and the first floor has three flanking two-light leaded casements. A 20th-century extension stands at the rear. The interior, which was not inspected, is said to feature chamfered beams and an open fireplace.
