  1. Late C19 rebuilding, in the same "half timbered" style as No. 38 (qv). Rear elevation suggests an C18 or earlier core. Rough rendered. Three storeys. Three slightly projecting double sash windows on three carved brackets, small dentil cornice. Smaller window in gable end. Dentil cornice and frieze between ground and first floor above ground floor public house windows. Right hand door of six panels in pilastered architrave with pediment. Rendered plinth. Door in left hand quoin, six fielded, with rectangular four light fanlight in moulded architrave with dentil cornice. Modillion eaves cornice, tile barge-boarding. To rear brick with old tile roof, two storeys.
