Description
54 Ock Street is an early 19th-century house with a red brick front that has been rebuilt from an 18th-century structure. It features a tile roof with two gabled dormers and casement windows that have glazing bars. The building has a wood boxed cornice supported by eight paired modillions. There are two windows with flush frames and later glazing, topped by a stone flat arch with a keystone. A band runs between the storeys. On the ground floor to the left, there is a flat carriage arch. The modern door has a rectangular fanlight and is framed in wood with a rendered flat arched lintel that also has a keystone. Additionally, there is a three-light sash window with a flush frame, lacking glazing bars, and a rendered arch with a keystone. The houses numbered 50 to 54 form a group.
