Description
Probably dating to the 17th century, with later alterations, 39 and 41 Ock Street form a single building. The front elevation is brick and timber framing, largely rebuilt in the 19th century. The building is two storeys high with attics, and has a tile roof with three gabled dormers featuring casement windows. There are three windows to the front, each with a gauged brick arch. Two windows are double-hung sashes with glazing bars, although the windows at No. 39 have modern glass on both floors. The doorways are round-arched, with blocked fanlights above. A central, round-arched carriage entrance provides access. A single, small chimney is located centrally. Nos. 35 to 41, including 39 and 41, are grouped together.
