Description
This is a cowhouse with an attached loosebox, located approximately 20 meters southeast of Hollandridge Farmhouse. It dates from the early to mid-18th century and features weatherboarding over a timber frame, set on a base of brick and flint. The building has a gabled roof covered with old tiles and is a single storey. There is a 20th-century stable door and an inserted double entry on the right side. Inside, the cowhouse has a six-bay queen-post roof with clasped purlins, jowled and braced posts, and a remodelled bay to the right. The loosebox, also from the early to mid-18th century, is a single storey made of random bond brick with a gabled old tile roof. This structure is included for its group value.
