Description

The White House is a house dating from the late 18th century. It features a whitewashed render on the front, while the rest of the building is constructed from brick. The roof is covered with old tiles and has flanking brick chimneys. The house is designed in a double pile format and has two storeys with four bays. It has an off-set plinth and eaves. The windows are three-pane boxed sashes, with those on the ground floor having segmental heads. The entrance door is located in the second bay and has a moulded frame with a 20th-century flat wooden cornice hood supported by shaped brackets and slender iron poles. The left side of the house features a wide old board door, and there are two gabled bays at the rear.
