Description
Hollandridge Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick quoins and dressings, topped with a gabled old tile roof and featuring end external stacks with tumbled-in brickwork. The building has a double-depth plan, stands two storeys high, and has a three-window range. The front features segmental arches made of alternating red and flared brick voussoirs above a 20th-century door, three-light casements, and a blind window above the door. There are three gables on the front, and the side walls also have a three-window range with 19th-century iron casements. At the rear, there is an outshut. Inside, the front room has been remodelled and includes a chamfered beam and a chamfered bressumer over an open fireplace to the right, along with a timber-framed partition at the rear. The rear rooms contain chamfered and stopped beams. The first floor has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
