Description
This is a house dating from the late 16th or early 17th century, with later additions. The exterior is rendered over a brick skin that originally concealed a timber frame, and has a plain-tile roof. The main front has one storey and an attic, with a single window range featuring a four-pane sash window. A plank door is located on the left-hand side, and the windows feature cambered lintels. There is also a two-light dormer window. Inside, much of the original single-bay timber-frame structure remains, including a stop-chamfered spine beam and a queen-strut roof with straight windbraces. A stone fireplace is present on the rear wall of the original section of the house. A later addition extends to the rear.
