Description

This is a house located at 59 North Street, likely dating from the 17th century but refronted in the early 19th century. It features painted brickwork and an old plain-tile roof, with a brick ridge stack positioned to the right of the center. The building is two stories high and has a three-window range. To the left of center, there is a 6-panel part-glazed door with a segmental brick head, and to the right, a plank door with an overlight, also with a segmental brick head. The ground floor has 16-pane unhorned sash windows, except for a 12-pane sash on the left, all topped with segmental brick heads. The first floor has three 4-pane horned sash windows. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included for its group value.
