Description

No. 60, known as Priests, is a house that has been converted into a shop. It likely dates from the mid-17th century and has undergone later alterations. The building is roughcast, probably over brick, and features a 20th-century plain-tile roof with a brick lateral stack at the rear right. It is two stories high and has a two-window range. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front with a central glazed door flanked by wooden bay windows that have pilaster-strip mullions and glazing bars. On the first floor, there are two 4-pane sash windows. Inside, there is a massive open fireplace on the ground floor to the right, and the spine beam and joists are visible on the ground floor.
