Description

This is probably a mid-18th century house, now used as a shop and dwelling. It was originally part of a larger group of buildings (Nos. 3, 4, 5 and 6), but is now listed individually. The front has a painted brick plinth and a rendered upper section which likely covers timber framing. The roof is covered in old plain tiles, with a brick stack on the left end. The building is two storeys high with a two-window front. The shop front has a central glazed door flanked by angled bays, with a plank door to the right. A moulded fascia board runs between the ground and first floors. The first floor has two 16-pane sash windows. A wood dentil cornice sits below the eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
