Description
The Barn Gallery is a house that has been converted into a shop and dwelling. It likely dates from the 17th century but was refronted in the mid-18th century. The exterior is rendered, probably over brick, and features an old plain-tile roof that is half-hipped to the left. There is a 19th-century brick stack at the left end.
The building is two stories high and has a two-window range. To the right of the center is a half-glazed door, with a 19th-century two-pane shop window to the right. To the left, there are two 12-pane unhorned sash windows with painted wood surrounds. A 20th-century fascia board runs between the ground and first floor. On the first floor, there are two 4-pane unhorned sash windows with painted wood architrave surrounds. The interior has not been inspected.
