Description
Fashion Corner is a house that has been converted into a shop and dwelling. It likely dates from the mid-17th century and has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The exterior features lined render, which is probably over timber framing on the first floor, and an old plain-tile roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic and has a two-window range.
The ground floor has a mid-20th century plate-glass shop front with glazed double doors located to the right of the center. On the first floor, there are late 19th century angled bays that contain horned sash windows. The attic features two cross-gables with 4-pane unhorned sash windows and ornamental bargeboards. The interior has not been inspected but is expected to be of interest.
