Description

Kerry Vor is a late 18th-century farmhouse, now a house, situated on Britwell Hill Road, Britwell. The building has rendered walls and an old tile roof, with Welsh slate to the rear. It features brick stacks. The design follows a double-depth plan, with two storeys and a three-window front. The ground floor has a door with a cast-iron porch and flanking horizontal-sliding sash windows, each topped with a segmental arch. Similar horizontal-sliding sash windows on the first floor are set within flat arches. A brick eaves course runs along the top of the walls. The roof is gabled and M-shaped, with end and ridge stacks. Later 18th-century and mid-19th century sash windows are found on the sides and rear of the building. The interior remains uninspected.
