Description
Sunnymede is a house built in the mid-18th century. It is constructed of flint rubble with brick dressings and features a gabled old tile roof, along with a brick stack at the left end. The building is designed in an L-shape with a rear left wing and has two storeys with a two-window range. There are segmental brick arches over a blocked door and a horned sash window, as well as a flat brick arch over a similar sash window on the left. The first floor has 19th-century two-light casements. A brick storey band and dentilled eaves add to the architectural detail. At the rear, there are two later 18th-century extensions, each two-storey and one-bay in range, made of similar materials and featuring brick end and ridge stacks. Inside, the house has chamfered ogee-stopped beams and quarter-turn stairs. The building is included for its group value.
