Description
Flints is a house dating from the mid-18th century, constructed of flint rubble with brick dressings and featuring a gabled old tile roof with brick end stacks. The building has a two-unit outshut plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. It has segmental brick arches over a late 19th-century six-panelled door, two of which are stained glass, and flanking 20th-century casement windows. The first floor also has 20th-century casements. A late 19th-century cast-iron porch with a lean-to roof is present. The house features a brick plinth course and a Flemish bond storey band.
To the left, there is an early 19th-century one-bay extension that is two storeys high, made of random bond brick, with a gabled old tile roof and a gable end stack. This extension includes a 19th-century plank door, two-light iron casements, and a plank door with a cathole leading to a granary in the left side wall. Inside, the building has chamfered and cased beams.
