Description
Foremark Park Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof that features a central well and two brick stacks within it. The building stands two storeys tall and has a symmetrical west elevation with seven bays. The central doorway is framed by an ashlar doorcase with bead moulding, and it contains a raised and fielded panelled door topped by a rectangular overlight with glazing bars. On either side of the doorway are three glazing bar sash windows with segmental arches, and there are seven similar windows above on the upper floor. At the rear, there is a range of 19th-century outbuildings that are not of special interest.
Inside, the farmhouse has a tiled entrance hall that features two segmental arches with reeded surrounds; one arch leads to the staircase, while the other opens to two round-arched doorways with panelled doors and fanlights. There are reeded door surrounds on both sides of the hall. The closed string staircase is notable for its turned knopped balusters and ramped handrail.
