Description

This building is a barn located to the rear of Number 22, dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century. It was originally used for stabling and as a barn for the former Red Lion Public House. The structure features a weatherboarded timber frame and an arch-braced queen-post roof, with the north wall rebuilt in brick. It has four bars and two windows. The bay closest to the house has been partitioned to create a stable, which includes a manger and a ledged board door with strap hinges, hung on pintles within a pegged frame. This barn is included for its group value with the former public house.
