Description
Patchwork is a house dating from the late 18th century, with a remodel and a rear range added around 1790 to 1800. It is constructed of grey header bond brick, featuring red brick quoins and dressings, and has a gabled M-shaped old tile roof with brick symmetrical end stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a three-window range. A mid-19th century flat hood covers a 19th century four-panelled door. The windows have rendered flat arches above 8-pane sashes, with similar sashes on the first floor. The eaves are dentilled. The rear two-storey range is made of Flemish bond brick with flared headers and also features 8-pane sashes. Inside, there are four-panelled doors with overlights facing the first-floor passage, and a late 18th century fireplace is located to the right.
