Description

This is an early 19th-century house on the west side of Couching Street, Watlington. The house is constructed of Flemish bond brick, characterised by alternating courses of headers (short ends of bricks) which are flared outwards. It has a hipped roof covered in old tiles, with a brick ridge stack. The building has a right-angled plan and comprises a one-bay range, two storeys in height. The front features a four-panelled door, one half-glazed, set within reeded architraves and an overlight. To the side of the door is a canted bay window, and above is a six-pane sash window. The interior has not been inspected. The property is included on the heritage list for its contribution to the architectural character of the surrounding area.
