Description

Porringers is a 17th-century house located on Couching Street in Vatlington. The front is rendered, and it features a Welsh slate roof that is half-hipped to the right, with a brick end stack and a large 17th-century brick lateral stack at the rear. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range. To the left, there is an early 19th-century four-panelled stable door set in a moulded architrave. The windows include early 19th-century eight-pane sashes and first-floor leaded casements with three and two lights. There is a 20th-century extension at the rear. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
