Description
This barn, located approximately 14 meters northwest of Adwell Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century. It features weatherboarding over a timber frame set on a brick base, topped with a half-hipped old tile roof. The barn has a five-bay plan with a central threshing floor. The exterior includes double plank doors and a plank door to the left. Inside, there is a five-bay collar-truss roof with curved under-principals and clasped purlins. The barn is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
