Description

This is a large threshing barn located approximately 45 metres south of Wellhouse Farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century. The barn is timber framed with a brick plinth and is weatherboarded, topped with an old tile gabled roof. It features eight framed bays and has a double purlin roof, with the lower purlin being a butt purlin and the upper clasped. The structure includes a queen post with additional struts extending from the tie to the principal rafter. The barn is included for its group value.
