Description

Major's Cottage is a small house dating from the mid-18th century. It features rendered walls and an old plain-tile roof with brick gable stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high. The front has two windows, with a brick dentil eaves course, a central door, a 12-pane sash window to the left, and a 16-pane sash window to the right. There are also two small 12-pane sashes on the first floor. The rear of the house has 20th-century extensions. The interior has not been inspected.
