Description
Merlin is a small house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed clunch rubble and render, topped with an old plain-tile roof featuring brick gable stacks. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high. The symmetrical front has two windows and a central door, which is sheltered by a flat canopy supported by shaped brackets. This door is flanked by three-light casements that sit under segmental arches, while the first-floor casements do not have arches. The roof is double-span with stacks located on the right side. The right gable wall and part of the rear wall are rendered. The interior has not been inspected.
