Description

Wisteria Cottage is a small house located on Warborough Wharf Road, dating from the early 18th century, with possible earlier elements. The building features rendered clunch rubble and timber framing with plastered infill, topped by a shingle roof with brick gable stacks. It has a two-unit through-passage plan that has been extended. The cottage is one storey high with attics and has a two-window front, which includes a central door with a canopy supported by shaped brackets, flanked by two-light casement windows. There are also two 2-light dormers. To the right, there is a lower single unit extension, and at the rear, there is a small two-storey wing. The rear wall of the main range is timber framed. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
