Description

The Farthings is a small house dating from the 18th century. It is built of rendered material with a gabled thatch roof and 20th-century brick chimney stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and comprises a single storey and attic, with a two-window front. There is a single-light window to the right and a late 19th or early 20th century casement window to the left of a 20th-century front door. A stone bread oven projection is visible in the left gable wall. A one-storey extension was added to the rear in the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest. Group value context: It is a building of local interest.
