Description
Spinneys Cottage is a house dating from the late 16th or early 17th century. It is timber-framed with brick infill, and was rebuilt to the left of the porch. The house sits on a stone plinth and has a gabled and half-hipped thatched roof with a brick ridge stack. The building follows a two-unit lobby-entry plan. It is two storeys high with a two-window range. The entrance is a 20th-century door within a brick porch, and the windows are also 20th century. There is a single-storey extension to the right, made of similar materials. The interior has not been inspected, but it is likely to be of interest. The property is included on the list for its group value.
