Description
Boasley View is a small house dating from around the mid-18th century. It features rendered cob walls and a gable-ended corrugated iron roof, which has thatch underneath. The house has two gable end stacks, both made of rubble, with the right-hand stack having a brick shaft. Inside, there are two principal heated rooms at either end, with a small pantry and staircase located at the center. The house is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with four windows, which include two-light 19th-century small-paned casements; the two central first-floor windows are one-light. To the left of center, there is a 19th-century panelled and part-glazed door, which is located under an extension of the outshut roof to its right. The outshut features a 20th-century plank door on the right side. There are also early 20th-century lean-to outbuildings against the rear wall. The interior remains relatively unaltered since the 19th century.
