Description

This farm building, likely a cart-shed, dates from 1815 and is located approximately 10 metres northeast of Library Farmhouse. It is constructed from limestone rubble and weatherboarding, topped with an old plain-tile roof. The structure features a 6-bay open front that has since been enclosed with weatherboarding. Inside, the trusses have curved under-principals that clasp the purlins. The tie-beam is marked with the date "1815". This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
