Description
6 and 8 Fairmile are early to mid 19th century buildings located on the northeast side of Fairmile. They are stuccoed and feature quoins, coved eaves with string courses below and at the first-floor height. The buildings have elaborate, pierced end barge boards on their tiled gabled roofs, with a large central chimney stack rising from a square plinth. They are two storeys tall with an attic in the gable end and have two windows each, including one shallow bay window on the ground floor. All windows are 19th century casements, most of which have glazing bars. The doorways are treated with channelled stucco.
