Description

Grenville Lodge is an early 19th-century building. It is rendered with an eaves cornice and has a hipped slate roof featuring small slates, along with centre and end chimneys. The building is two storeys high and has three angular, full-height bays, with five windows on the first floor. Most of the windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The front door has been altered and is a six-panel design, set within a doorcase featuring engaged fluted Doric columns and an entablature topped with a flat hood.

The building forms a group with the listed walls and gate piers to The New House (No 17A), Grenville Lodge (No 17), those to Nos 2 to 8 (even) Henley Park opposite, Nos 23 to 27 (odd) and Nos 2 to 8 (even) across the road.
