Description
No 25 Fairmile is an 18th-century building featuring a stucco facade and an old tiled, hipped roof, with chimneys at the center and ends. The symmetrical facade includes a full-height northern bay from the early 19th century. The building is two storeys tall with three windows; the southern ground floor window consists of three lights. All windows are sashes with glazing bars and reeded architraves. The entrance has a six-panelled door, which has been altered, and is framed by a plain Doric porch with pilasters, a frieze, and a flat hood above. The listed walls and gate piers to No 17A, The New House, No 17, and Nos 2 to 8 (even) Henley Park opposite form a group with No 17 (Grenville Lodge) and Nos 23 to 27 (odd) and Nos 2 to 8 (even) opposite.
